ʔaq̓am Community Enterprises ( ACE) generates revenue and creates economic opportunities through sound business practices and strategic relationships built upon a foundation of fairness and integrity. Ace are continuously identifying opportunities for business start-ups, acquisitions, partnerships and short/long-term investments such as their newly opened (September 2018) gas station – ʔaq̓am Trading. Ace compared the costs of locating a business on-reserve to off-reserve, and have found an estimated savings of up to $25,000.00 in overhead per employee based on a $20/square foot savings on lease and 15% savings on local labour.
